We care about your trust. This policy explains how information shared through our website may be collected, used, and protected.
Effective Date: AUG 19, 2026
The Perfect Party, Inc. (“The Perfect Party,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) designs, plans, and produces events. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through www.theperfectparty.com (the “Site”) and how we handle it.
We are updating our privacy practices and expect to publish a more detailed policy shortly. This Policy describes our practices accurately in the meantime.
If you submit our inquiry form, we collect your first and last name, email address, telephone number, the type of event you are considering, an estimated budget range if you provide one, and whatever you enter in the “Event Details” field. If you email or call us, we collect your contact information and the contents of your message.
Our form invites you to describe your event, which may include the occasion, guests, or honorees. If you give us information about another person, you are responsible for having the authority to do so. Please do not send health information, financial account numbers, or government identification numbers through the Site.
If you engage us, we collect additional information in the course of planning and producing your event, including venue and vendor details, guest counts, scheduling, and billing contacts.
When you visit the Site, information is collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies, including your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, referring source, pages viewed, links clicked, time spent, date and time of visit, and cookie and device identifiers. Under California law this is personal information even though it does not include your name.
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies. A consent banner appears on your first visit with Accept and Reject options, and you can change your choice at any time through the Cookies Settings link in the footer of every page. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, though the Site may not work as intended.
Third parties may collect information about your activities over time and across different websites when you use the Site. We are currently reviewing which third parties receive information about your visit, and we will identify them by name and category in our updated policy.
The Site does not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals. The Cookies Settings link is the control that affects how the Site behaves.
We do not sell personal information for money. California law also defines a separate concept called “sharing,” which covers disclosing information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We are reviewing whether any analytics or advertising technology on the Site involves sharing as California defines it, and we will state the result in our updated policy. If it does, we will provide the opt-out mechanism California requires.
We disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients: our website hosting and form provider; our email and productivity provider; analytics providers; venues, caterers, entertainers, rental companies, photographers, and other vendors involved in producing an event; our attorneys, accountants, and insurers; government authorities where required by law or to establish or defend legal claims; and an acquirer or successor in connection with a sale or transfer of our business.
We do not authorize our service providers to use your personal information for their own purposes.
We use personal information to respond to inquiries, prepare proposals, plan and produce events, communicate about an engagement, bill and collect for services, operate and secure the Site, understand how the Site is used, keep records, resolve disputes, and comply with law.
We keep personal information as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, and longer where required by law or where it is needed for a pending or reasonably anticipated legal claim. Our updated policy will state retention periods by category.
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that information sent to us over the internet or by email will not be intercepted.
You may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, provide a copy of what you have given us, correct information that is inaccurate, delete information we no longer need, or remove you from any marketing list.
Email monica@theperfectparty.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject line. We will acknowledge your request within 10 business days and respond within 45 days. We may need to verify your identity, usually by confirming information you have already given us. We will not charge you or treat you differently for making a request.
Shine the Light. We do not share personal information with third parties for those third parties’ own direct marketing purposes.
The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 through the Site, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided information through the Site, contact us and we will delete it.
We produce events attended by children. Information about children in that setting comes to us from the adult who engages us, and how we handle it is addressed in that client’s services agreement.
We photograph and record the events we produce and use selected images in our portfolio, on this Site, and on our social media. If you would like an image of you or your child removed, email us with enough detail to identify it and we will remove it from our own Site and social media accounts. We cannot remove content that others have reposted or downloaded.
The Site links to third-party websites and to our profiles on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Those services operate under their own privacy policies. We do not control them and are not responsible for their practices.
If we make a material change to this Policy, we will post the updated Policy on this page, change the Effective Date above, and post a notice on the Site homepage for at least 30 days. Changes take effect when posted and are not retroactive.
